Terms And Conditions

By purchasing any of our services, you are agreeing to our Terms and Conditions. The following terms and conditions will apply between you and Juniper Blue Interiors when you buy services from Juniper Blue Interiors. The terms do not affect your statutory rights.

1. Definitions And Interpretation

In this Terms & Conditions Policy, the following definitions are used:

JUNIPER BLUE INTERIORS/WE/US/OUR

Juniper Blue Interiors of 97 Gronant Rd, Prestatyn, Denbighshire, LL19 9HP; 

USER/YOU/YOUR

any third party that accesses the Website and is not either (i) employed by Juniper Blue Interiors and acting in the course of their employment or (ii) engaged as a consultant or otherwise providing services to Juniper Blue Interiors and accessing the Website in connection with the provision of such services; and

SERVICE/SERVICES

applies to all Juniper Blue Interiors’s services and add-on sales

2. About Juniper Blue Interiors

2.1

Juniper Blue Interiors is a UK-based interior design consultancy operating as a sole trader. Services are provided online and, where applicable, in person within a 50-mile radius of postcode LL19.

3. Scope of Services

3.1

Juniper Blue Interiors provides interior design advice and creative services only. 

3.2

Services may include consultations, concept boards, design boards, furniture layouts, colour schemes, 2D visualisations, 3D visualisations and Product Lists, (deliverables dependent on service or add-on sale purchased). 

3.3

Juniper Blue Interiors does not purchase items on behalf of clients, manage contractors, or provide structural, electrical, plumbing, or building advice.

4. General

4.1

No contract will exist between you and Juniper Blue Interiors until a confirmation email is sent from us to you after we have received payment from you for one of our services.

4.2

As the Client, you must provide your postcode, phone number, email address, and name.

4.3

For relevant services, you will also take a questionnaire (to help us determine your preferred design styles), provide us photos of your space, and provide us additional information about your room and project. 

4.4

According to the package selected, you will have a video call (also referred to as an “Online Consultation” with your designer (or a telephone consultation if you prefer, providing all necessary measurements, photos and questionnaires have been returned to us prior to the call). The designer will then collaborate with you on your project before sharing the relevant design documents for the service you have purchased.

4.5

You confirm that all details you provide to Juniper Blue Interior for services are accurate, up to date and complete.

4.6

You must be 18 or over to use this service. If you are under 18, you may only use this service with the agreement of, and under the supervision of, a parent or guardian.

4.7

A video call to commence the project (or multiple projects if bought at the same time) must be booked within a year of the purchase date, otherwise you will be subject to any price increases that may have happened during that year.

4.8

Juniper Blue Interiors reserves the right to change prices of any service at any time.

4.9

Juniper Blue Interiors does not accept liability (except as shown below) for any errors and/or omissions contained in our website and also reserves the right to change information, prices, specifications and descriptions of any listed products and services without notice. 

4.10

If an error is found in the price of the services that you’ve ordered, Juniper Blue Interiors will tell you promptly. We will not be under any obligation to fulfil an order for a service that was advertised at the incorrect price.

5. In-Person Site Visits

5.1

In-person site visits are offered only to properties located within 50 miles of postcode LL19.

5.2

Juniper Blue Interiors will not attend a site that is still a building site. We will only attend a site visit if:

5.2.1
The space to be designed has been handed back to you by your builders and all building works have been completed.

5.2.2
The sub-floor is laid.

5.2.3
The walls are plastered and any window frames and door frames have been fitted.

5.2.4
Staircases have been fitted (if the space to be designed is on the first floor or higher).

6. Service Package & Revisions

6.1

The following service packages includes a set number of revisions:

 

  • Settle & Style / Perfect Palette / Layout Configuration: up to 2 revisions

  • Shape & Refine / Signature Space: up to 3 revisions

  • Fast Track Service: 1 revision only

6.2

Revisions apply to refinements of the agreed design direction. Significant changes to the brief may require an additional service.

7. Fast Track Service

7.1

The Fast Track Service is an optional add-on offering expedited delivery. A minimum of 5 working days applies.

8. Payment Terms

8.1

All services are purchased as a one-time upfront payment.

8.2

In accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, distance contracts include a 14-day cooling-off period, unless you request that the Services begin earlier.

8.3

Work will commence as follows:

8.3.1
Where you request immediate commencement, and provide express consent for Juniper Blue Interiors to begin work within the 14-day cooling-off period, work will commence once payment has been received in full (or, where applicable, following completion of the Online Consultation).

8.3.2
Where you do not request immediate commencement, work will begin after the expiry of the 14-day cooling-off period (or following completion of the Online Consultation, where applicable).

8.4

Payment confirms your acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

9. Cancellations, Re-scheduling & Refunds

9.1

Statutory Cooling-Off Period

In accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, where you purchase Services from Juniper Blue Interiors as a distance contract, you have the right to cancel your booking within 14 days of purchase without giving a reason.

9.2

Request to Start Work During the Cooling-Off Period

Juniper Blue Interiors typically begins work shortly after booking in order to deliver Services within the agreed timeframe.
If you request that we begin providing the Services during the 14-day cooling-off period, you will be asked to provide express consent for work to start immediately. By providing this consent, you acknowledge that:
 

9.2.1  
if you cancel after work has begun, you will be responsible for payment for any Services already provided up to the point of cancellation; and
 

9.2.3  
where the Services have been fully completed within the cooling-off period, you will lose your statutory right to cancel and no refund will be due.

9.3

Cancellation After the Cooling-Off Period

Once the 14-day cooling-off period has expired, or where express consent to begin work has been given, cancellations will not normally be eligible for a refund, except where required by law.

9.4

As Juniper Blue Interiors provides personalised, time-specific design services, refunds are not offered for Services that have already commenced or been delivered.

10. Appointment, Rescheduling & No-Shows

10.1

Where your service includes an Online Consultation or site visit, you may request to reschedule your appointment, subject to availability.

10.2

Rescheduling requests should be made as soon as possible. Repeated rescheduling requests may delay project timelines.

10.3

Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without prior notice will be treated as a no-show.

10.4

Where a no-show occurs, Juniper Blue Interiors reserves the right to retain the full service fee, as time has been reserved and made available for your appointment. A no-show does not constitute valid cancellation under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.

10.5

Juniper Blue Interiors reserves the right to reschedule appointments in exceptional circumstances. Where this occurs, an alternative appointment date will be offered.

11. Your Responsibilities

11.1

You must provide accurate information, measurements, and images. Juniper Blue Interiors is not liable for errors resulting from inaccurate information.

11.2

You agree to respond as timely as possible to any request from us for you to provide additional information or clarification. We are not responsible for delays in your final design lead times as a result of you failing to provide such information to us in a timely manner.

11.3

It is your decision and responsibility to implement the designs provided to you by Juniper Blue Interiors.

12. Design Processes & Outcomes / Product Lists & Third Parties

12.1

The designs that Juniper Blue Interiors provides are based on the measurements provided by you. We do not guarantee floor plan, 2D drawing or 3D render accuracy. These are to be used for illustration purposes only. It is your responsibility to check all measurements before you make any purchases and Juniper Blue Interiors cannot be held responsible for any inaccuracies in your measurements; or for the products we select for your design being of unsuitable dimensions as a result of incorrect measurements provided to us by you.

12.2

The designs that Juniper Blue Interiors provides are recommendations only. We will provide details of where to buy the suggested products but we are not responsible for supplier changes, pricing, stock levels & issues or delivery issues.

12.3

For services that stipulate it, we will produce a product list for you that will include links to third party websites and applications. It is your responsibility to evaluate whether or not you wish to access or use them. Juniper Blue Interiors is not responsible for, and we do not endorse, any features, content, advertising, products or other materials on other websites or applications. You assume all risk and we disclaim all liability arising from your use of them. 

12.4

Retailer website images and descriptions are not always accurate. For example, the colour of a product may vary from the image or information may be missing or incorrect.

12.5

Juniper Blue Interiors is not responsible for your orders with retailers.

12.6

Delivery charges are not included on the product list.

12.7

Juniper Blue Interiors shall not have any liability to you for any delay in the delivery of services ordered or any other matters to which the delay is due to any event outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, flood, fire, labour disputes, strikes, lock-outs, riots, civil commotion, malicious damage, explosion, governmental actions, supply chain disruption and other similar events.

12.8

Juniper Blue Interiors does not offer bathroom sanitaryware design or kitchen redesign/planning. Bathroom and kitchen design packages are for styling items only. 

12.9

The packages will not include any unrelated finishes or fixtures unless specified e.g. paint finishes for woodwork, carpet underlay, light switches.

12.10

Wallpaper, fabric, flooring and paint prices are per item, not an estimate of the total needed.

12.11

The budget given to us should not include the cost of any work needed e.g. carpet fitting, decorating, electrical work.

12.12

We aim to share your designs within the guide lead times specified below. These timelines assume that there are no delays caused by us awaiting information from you.

We want you to be happy with your design first time; however additional time should be allowed for revisions and we will communicate an updated lead time for your revised design as part of the revision discussion. Please refer to Section 4 for further details on revisions.

12.13

12.14

To the best extent permissible under applicable law, we disclaim any and all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, in relation to the services. This doesn’t affect your statutory rights as a consumer, neither does it affect your Contract Cancellation Rights.

12.15

Once your designs have been shared with you and any subsequent post-design support (if applicable) has been fulfilled, the agreement between you and  Juniper Blue Interiors ends.

13. Intellectual Property

13.1

The designs and any other intellectual property rights in all imagery, plans, documents and other matters produced for the purposes of, or as part of, or as a result of the services shall in all cases belong to Juniper Blue Interiors. 

13.2

By purchasing a service from Juniper Blue Interiors, you agree it will be used for your own private or domestic use only and is not for resale.

13.3

The trademarks, names, logos and service marks (collectively “trademarks”) displayed on this website are registered and unregistered trademarks of the website owner. Nothing contained on this website should be construed as granting any licence or right to use any trademark without the prior written permission of the website owner

13.4

An anonymised version of your design may be used by Juniper Blue Interiors for marketing and promotional purposes.

14. Use of Our Website

14.1

By accessing this website, you warrant and represent to the website owner that you are legally entitled to do so and to make use of the information made available via the website.

14.2

External links may be provided for your convenience, but they are beyond the control of Juniper Blue Interiors and no representation is made as to their content. Use or reliance on any external links and the content thereon provided is at your own risk.

14.3

We make no warranties, representations, statements or guarantees (whether express, implied in law or residual) regarding the website.

15. Limitation of Liability

15.1

Juniper Blue Interiors undertakes to carry out the services with reasonable skill and care and to the best of our abilities. 

15.2

Juniper Blue Interiors is not liable for implementation outcomes or third-party performance. 

15.3

The website owner shall not be responsible for and disclaims all liability for any loss, liability, damage (whether direct, indirect or consequential), personal injury or expense of any nature whatsoever which may be suffered by you or any third party (including your company), as a result of or which may be attributable, directly or indirectly, to your access and use of the website, any information contained on the website, your or your company’s personal information or material and information transmitted over our system. 

15.4

In particular, neither the website owner nor any third party or data or content provider shall be liable in any way to you or to any other person, firm or corporation whatsoever for any loss, liability, damage (whether direct or consequential), personal injury or expense of any nature whatsoever arising from any delays, inaccuracies, errors in, or omission of any share price information or the transmission thereof, or for any actions taken in reliance thereon or occasioned thereby or by reason of non-performance or interruption, or termination thereof. 

15.5

We make no representations about accuracy, reliability, completeness, or timeliness of any contents of the services, including designs. Similarly, we make no representations about accuracy, reliability, completeness, or timeliness of any data from a third-party service provider or the quality or nature of third-party products or packages obtained through the service. Use the packages at your own risk.

15.6

Juniper Blue has personal indemnity insurance and cyber & data insurance.

16. Complaints Procedure

16.1

Juniper Blue Interiors is committed to providing a professional, thoughtful and collaborative service. If, however, you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, we encourage you to let us know as soon as possible so we can work with you to resolve the matter promptly and fairly. 

16.2

Raising a complaint
All complaints should be made in writing via email to [your email address], clearly outlining the nature of the concern and the service to which it relates.

16.3

Acknowledgement
We will acknowledge receipt of your complaint within 5 working days.

16.4

Review and response
Your complaint will be reviewed carefully, and we aim to provide a full written response within 14 working days of acknowledgement. Where further investigation is required, we will keep you informed of expected timescales.

16.5

Resolution
Wherever possible, we will seek to resolve complaints through open dialogue and collaborative discussion, in keeping with the client-led nature of our services.

16.6

Limitation
Complaints relating to subjective design preferences will be considered in line with the agreed project brief and the scope of the service purchased.

17.1

18. Governing Law

18.1

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
